Speech recognition is a browser feature, not a feature of this website alone. Chrome supports it most widely; other browsers may not support it at all.

Are translations accurate?

Machine translations are useful for everyday meaning but can be wrong. Check important text, especially names, dates, instructions, and legal wording.

Do you upload my audio or text?

Text to speech and speech tools run through your browser. Translation requests go directly from your browser to the free MyMemory API for that request only. This site does not store your tool inputs on its own server.
